Jacques Cousteau was known as a genius and creative thinker. Cousteau made very fast connections that other people found difficult to make. If a scientist was involved and had passion in his/her work came to him and said, A, B, he could skip to Q and understand every step in between immediately. In addition, Jacques Cousteau invented the "diving saucer" one day at lunch. The "diving saucer" helped people dive to depths of 350 meters for several hours at a time. His invention of the aqua lung showed his intelligence and creative thinking. The aqua lung allowed divers to go underwater without being connected to a boat wearing a heavy suit. In conclusion, Jacques Cousteau invented and created things like the "SP-350" known as the "diving saucer," regulator valve, the aqua lung and underwater videos.

He also made movies of himself which included his friends. As an adult his curiosity led him to explore deeper and more remote areas in the oceans. Jacques Cousteau was asked many times "What did you expect to see at the bottom of the Romanche Trench?" He would always say, "If I knew what I would see, why would I go? Why would I bother looking?' He liked to learn things and find answers for himself. All in all, Jacques Cousteau was very curious. His curiosity led to lifelong explorations of the world's oceans.

Finally, he was resourceful because he stole chemicals from his grandfather's pharmacy and taught himself how to make films of himself and his friends. Jacques Cousteau's life was filled with curiosity which led to inventions. Because of his inventions and films people from all over the world could learn about aquatic life under the ocean's surface.
